American College of Radiology - DC Chapter (Metropolitan Radiological Society) Monthly Meeting

The DC MRS Chapter of ACR hosts monthly meetings where Radiology faculty, trainees, and students gather to discuss current events in Radiology and ways to continue advocating for patients. A guest speaker gives a talk on a topic and the evening concludes with a dinner.

Radiology Research Group Meeting

Radiology Research Group exposes students to clinical radiology and multidisciplinary research. Students have the opportunity to participate in active research projects, publish manuscripts, and present their work at national conferences.

Meetings will take place every Tuesday at 5:00pm in the Radiology Conference Room in Howard University Hospital Department of Radiology.

1st Annual DC Medical Student Interventional Radiology Symposium

You are cordially invited to the 1st Annual DC Interventional Radiology Symposium, a unique collaboration between Howard University College of Medicine, Georgetown University School of Medicine, George Washington University School of Medicine, and Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. The goal of the symposium is to expose medical and undergraduate students to Interventional Radiology (IR), learn about IR procedures, and even practice performing minimally invasive procedures using image guidance on simulations. Students will also have the opportunity to hear from world-renowned IR physicians and network with faculty, resident physicians, and student peers.
