Simran Soni is a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C., a Biology major and Chemistry minor. She receIved her high school diploma from Green Hope High School in Cary, North Carolina.
During her undergraduate years, she was a dedicated volunteer at the Christ House Shelter in Washington, DC, and a Science Olympiad coach at the Howard University Middle School. Currently, she serves as Webmaster of the New Freedmen's Clinic, Vice President of Women in Medicine, and the Student Sight Savers volunteer coordinator.
Simran is a global nomad who has lived in several countries, including India, Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore. An avid traveller, she enjoys learning new languages. While fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and French, she is learning Spanish in her spare time. Outside of academia, she enjoys running, listening to music, and swimming.
