Secretary: Quick Update
Apologies for the repeated message but just a quick update in regards to our E-Board meeting we had yesterday.
There is a town hall meeting with Dean Mighty on Sept 13, 2016. Johnothan has sent out an email with all the logistics, so be sure to check that email out. If you have any questions or concerns that you want Dean Mighty to address, please fill out the questionnaire form on our class website. It is anonymous, so feel free to address any concerns that you have.
We are working on the coffee maker and refrigerator situation - we will keep you posted on that.
There are two community service events coming up - one will be on *Sept 24, 2016 at the mens emergency shelter* and the other will be in October. Stay tuned for further details. In addition, If you would like to volunteer in the hospital, there is a mandatory orientation you must attend. The first one is scheduled for *Sept 13, 2016 at 3PM. *There will be one scheduled every month if you cannot make this one.
The library hours have been updated. The main library hours are as follows M-Thurs 8am - 11pm Fri 8am - 5pm Sat 9am - 5pm Sun 12noon - 8pm
When the main library closes, the study rooms on the lobby floor will be open. The hours for those are as follows: M-Thurs 11pm - 2am Friday 5pm - 2am Sat 5pm - 2am Sun 8pm- 2am
The library will be CLOSED on Monday for the labor day holiday.
Fundraising has done a great job designing apparel for our class. Yesterday was the last day to sign up to get our T Shirts and Sweatshirts. Anchal and Erin have placed the order and we will be receiving our apparel shortly. *In terms of payment, you can pay either through cashapp or cash and payment will be due when you guys receive your apparel.* This is the first batch and there will be more things released throughout the year - in fact - they're already planning for the next release. If you would like to provide any ideas/input, feel free to let them know!
On our class website, you will find a section called "The Class Corner." Here you can address any class issues, whether it be say with parking, Howard, tutoring, literally anything, and we as an E-board will be checking it and working to improve on any concerns you may have.
Lastly, there have been a lot of students saying they aren't getting the emails or Group Me messages/some things are being lost in translation. Our class website is our go to page where you can find everything. Nick has done a great job designing the website and he has been updating it daily. Check out the website for updates/appeals/class activities/basically everything! The website is posted below.
